We are a Community Benefit Society which anyone can join, to support the Brewery, and to volunteer. As a CBS, the brewery is owned by the members (over 750 good people so far) and all our profits are used to support local good causes.
The brewery relies on volunteers for all that it does – brewing, racking, bottling, sales, promotions, pop-up bars, and of course the popular Brewery Tap.
The brewery started in 2016 and is based in a small business park in Unstone, north east Derbyshire. We typically brew around fifty gyles (batches) of beer each year, covering our core beers and wide range of seasonal and special ales.

The brewery has supported a wide range of local good causes since it started in 2016. This includes local community groups, social support and relief organisations, local charities, local youth groups and schools.
The brewery actively supports the real ale business in the UK. We develop and produce award-winning beers based on traditional brewing processes in a small-scale craft brewery. We are proud to supply our high-quality real ales to local independent pubs and clubs at very competitive prices. We support a thriving independent pub and club sector as a key part of the local community.
